Building Healthy Bodies. Calm Minds. Confident Hearts.
“When I asked a group of 3rd–5th graders if they'd ever felt anxious, nearly every hand went up. That broke my heart, but it also gave me a mission.” Destiny Owen, Founder of Shape Your Destiny
Schools & Organizations We Work With
From elementary schools to universities, we bring wellness programs to institutions across California.

Children face more pressure than ever, both in school and at home.
They don't just need homework help. They need tools to handle stress, build confidence, and connect how their body, emotions, and learning all work together.
That's why we created programs that nurture the whole child physically. emotionally. socially.
Our "Whole Child" Approach
At Shape Your Destiny, we know kids need more than fitness or nutrition alone. True growth happens when children connect the dots. They see that moving their bodies and eating well also shapes how they feel emotionally.
This approach makes them more engaged, confident, and resilient.

Before & After School
Our programs help children stay active while also learning skills that support them at school, at home, and in life. They connect movement, breathing, and social-emotional learning (SEL) so kids understand the link between how their bodies feel and how their emotions work.
Our instructors are trained to create a safe, encouraging space for every child, whether shy, full of energy, or somewhere in between, meeting them where they are and helping them grow.

Yoga & Breathwork
Yoga and breathwork give kids practical tools to calm their minds and regulate emotions.
How We HelpYoga & Breathwork
Our instructors teach kids gentle poses and simple breathing techniques to help reduce stress, improve focus, and boost self-confidence. Studies show that even short, consistent practice can lower anxiety and improve classroom performance. For children, these skills provide a foundation of emotional regulation they can use every day.
Group Fitness & Movement Games
Kids learn best when movement feels fun!
How We HelpGroup Fitness & Movement Games
With group fitness and interactive games led by our instructors, children build strength, coordination, and resilience while also practicing teamwork and communication. These activities give them a healthy outlet for stress and energy, teaching that physical movement is directly connected to how they feel emotionally.
Team Sports
Team sports teach life skills. Through soccer, basketball, pickleball, and more, kids practice communication, cooperation, and handling wins and losses with confidence.
How We HelpTeam Sports
These activities strengthen not only the body, but also social-emotional skills like resilience, empathy, and leadership. By working toward shared goals, children build a sense of belonging and discover the confidence that comes from being part of something bigger than themselves.
Supporting research
Every stop on the trail is backed by something real.
Yoga & Breathwork
A 12 week yoga program improved social skills, lowered anxiety, and improved academic performance compared to regular PE alone.
Mindfulness
Kids who practice mindfulness report feeling more in control of their emotions and have more positive relationships with peers.
Confidence Building Skills
Structure and clear routines help kids develop self discipline, focus, and positive social behavior.
Foundations of Fitness & Sports
Kids in structured physical activity have lower body fat and reduced obesity risk, which is linked to higher self confidence.
Nutrition
Childhood obesity has risen 216% since 1980, even though total calories eaten hasn't changed much, only where those calories come from.
Hydration
More than half of U.S. kids drink far less water than recommended for their age.
