What is Camp Shape?

Welcome to Camp Shape, an innovative program designed to educate kids on how to live healthy and happy life. This overnight camp, lasting up to six weeks, is a unique opportunity for kids to learn about mindfulness, hydration, nutrition, and movement. Camp Shape is more than just a camp; it’s an experience that will change the way kids and their parents view their health and well-being forever.

At Camp Shape, we believe that healthy living is not just about exercise and healthy eating; it’s a holistic approach to life. We offer a range of activities that are designed to promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Our program includes mindfulness activities to help kids stay centered and focused, hydration education to ensure that they stay hydrated throughout the day, nutrition education to teach them how to make healthy food choices, and movement activities to keep them active and engaged.

We also understand that creating a healthy home environment is key to helping kids sustain a healthy lifestyle. For this reason, we offer workshops and activities for parents to help them make healthier choices and create a supportive environment at home.

At Camp Shape, we strive to create an atmosphere that is comprehensive, supportive, and engaging. We provide a safe space for kids to explore and learn, and we encourage them to be themselves. Our team of experienced counselors and staff are passionate about helping kids lead healthy, happy lives, and they are committed to making this camp an unforgettable experience for every participant.
Join us at Camp Shape, and let’s work together to help kids develop healthy habits that will last a lifetime.

Camp Shape is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that accepts and makes donations towards children’s enrollment fees and other operating expenses.

Our Goal

Obesity is an epidemic affecting so many children, amongst many other related diseases and disorders. Our passion is to create a safe environment for weight loss, while teaching body awareness and building new healthy habits, confidence, and positive peer relationships.

Fitness is an important part of our program. We keep our kids active in various ways. Including customized workouts from a Certified Master Trainer to teach proper body mechanics.

Developing confidence in social situations is fun with a nightly “Evening Activity”, along with a “Super Sunday Event”, which ALL campers have enjoyed participating in.

We ensure that all campers and staff are provided with age-appropriate, fun and engaging activities.
